Ajay Joseph is the area coordinator who oversees 城镇大厅 and the 索耶法院 公寓. Ajay has a MA in Higher Education Leadership from Concordia University 芝加哥, his undergraduate alma mater as well. He began his professional experience as a hall director at Carthage College and recently made the transition back to 芝加哥, 他是哪里人. Ajay has a strong passion for student engagement and believes in a personalized approach to each student, so they feel well-equipped to be successful in all their future endeavors.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about working at North Park University is engaging with students. I love being able to be a resource for them and serve them as best I can in their journey.
What do you most look forward to within Res Life this academic year?
I’m looking forward to meeting all the students who will be living in the residence halls. I’m excited to offer a safe space for students so they know they have someone who is always willing to listen to their concerns. I believe it’s important to always put students first and serve them, thereby displaying the love of Jesus.
What do you like to do on your days off (hobbies/interests)?
I really enjoy going to concerts. I’m also an avid reader and love to curl up with a good book when I have the time.
Anything else your NPU residents should know about you?
I would like my residents to know that I have an open-door policy, which means I want to create an inviting atmosphere so students can feel supported and cared for. I want them to know I am invested in their success both academically and professionally.
